tunred it off went out and saw a puddle of coolant located front passenger under oil cooler (note R-1 ) i was like man what happened rad or hose blew?....
well i let it cool off filled it up with water went for a drive and no more buzzer and no more coolant spilling out? took it out for a second drive and nothing happened? didnt leak anything... was not a hot day and was not driving hard at all so could anyone help me?
and plus my other cpu is down and this is slow so i cant get to the fsm but where is the fuel filter located on a third gen? iam scared to drive it now i have two first gens along with a 88 GTU and a 88 vert now i have a 93 rx7's have been good to me so let me be good to it =)

If its in the general area of the passanger side oil cooler, my guess would be either a crack in one of the radiator tanks (If its still stock), or in one of the hoses. I suggest doing a pressure test on it and get to the bottom of things before it leads to larger problems.

no white smoke, engine starts on first turn and runs perfect!
i was thinking of an over filled tank but i drove it home the day before like 300 miles..
theres only 30k on new reman i will do a comp test on the cooling system, i though it was a crack but than it should always leak correct? or am i wrong...? what causes a system to over-pressurize?

You should check or replace the hose that goes from the air separation tank (AST) to the overflow tank (it is not difficult to replace). If this hose is broken or has a small leak, the system will not be able to pull the coolant back from the overflow tank to the AST as the engine cools down. If this happens, the overflow tank will fill up and then coolant will spill out of it. This will also reduce the amount of coolant in your system as it is always loosing a small amount into the overflow tank and then the add coolant light will come on. This problem is kind of slow and not consistent so one time it might take multiple drives before you get the fill coolant light on and other times it might take less, same with the coolant on the floor.
Good Luck!

I forgot to mention, you should also check the AST tank pressure cap, if the seal is not working properly or the spring is not good anymore it could allow extra coolant to leak out of your system and into the overflow tank.

I was about to start a similar thread, the same thing happened to me yesterday. I went for a quick ride; and like 5-10 minutes after it being shut off, massive amounts of white smoke started to come from my hood, when I opened it their was a small cut in the coolant hose and it was squirting coolant everywhere and there was a puddle underneith the car. I hope its the same thing and its nothing really bad.
Please input your opinion on my problem aswell. Thanks
p.s. I was washing my car when this occured and this could have caused a mixture of the water, heat and coolant; that could have resulted in the smoke. Just a thought.

My car was doing the same thing and replaced my caps several times. It wasn't until I coughed up the bucks and paid for OEM ones that my problem went away.
