It's value? Depends on how much you paid for it. You'd have to give more then a year and model to get an estimate...

i'd say around there is about right...it'll be needing a new motor soon, assuming its still on the original.

You really can't.

Once you get the car, take it to a shop that can do a compression test on the engine. If everything checks out fine, go ahead and have some routine maintanance done:

* Change spark plugs
* Change oil/filter
* Change air filter
* Change fuel filter
* Coolant flushed

If the compression test results come back low, well, do a search here on the forum for "rebuild" and "reman".

Where do you suggest I get the compression test?
I have heard dealers are not good?
But no one around Va. Beach works on Rx7's.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Rob

You should have no problems with dealers doing compression tests. It's the actual engine work that you should avoid most dealers for.

93 called R1, 94 & 95 called R2. Actually are the same.
Price is depend on the body, color, mileage, engine and your budget. Of course the lowest pirce always the best. There is no guide line on rx7's price. All depend on your perference and money

The car is worth as much as the buyer is willing to pay for it. In this case, the car was worth 9900 cause that's what you paid for it.

Yes it's an R2.

If that's the actual mileage, I suggest you start shoping around. Here's a few links to get you started.

Thanks I appreciate everyones input. I feel 9900 for an R-2 with 100k miles is a great deal.
