HELP for a NOOB!!!
First off let me start off by saying hi. My name is adam and currently im in college. I have a stg 4 subaru WRX that is making around 350awhp. However its starting to get old and I really like the look of an RX-7. Just a couple questions about buying one. What are some common reliability problems areas with these cars, IE: transmission, AC, engine... Also, how expensive is it to upgrade these cars and is there alot of parts availiable? Finally, the rex ran in the high to mid 11's at the track. How much work would it be to get my new RX-7 to that area. Thanks for your help!
any input would be helpful.

Let me tell you before all the the guys that have been here longer...DO A SEARCH!! You will find posts on the reliability mods you're asking about. Money you will initially spend depends on the condition the car is in when you make your purchase. Still an incredible amount of parts for these cars available.

I think you would be best served by re-reading the FAQ since nearly every question you mentioned is explicitly addressed there.
When you have specific questions, a search will usually answer those. Try sorting the results as oldest first.
There are always people in your shoes, and while it seems that some discussion would be most prodctive, the answer is actually not. Asking generic repetitive questions often generates crap information, which will take you further off track than provide help.
