HELP NEEDED. odula center insert for 99 spoiler stands Modification help.

Hi guys, finally getting to install my CF odula center, but the 99 OEM spoiler has this nub that's impeding the install of the insert. In picture 1 its the small piece that's near the rear of the spoiler. In picture 2 its touching the spoiler. Anyone one else have to cut this numb off? Thanks in advance

That peg is actually what the factory insert pivots on... is there no hole in the Odula insert for it?

Negative.. No hole on the insert.. Can either drill a whole in the odula spoiler or cut the peg off I guess.. Thanks for the response!

Do you have pictures of the side of the Odula? Might be better to drill the hole for support

Honestly don't know. Bought the odula from a forum member locally and he said it was genuine.. The carbon weave looks good but there aren't any real markings on it to signify it's brand.. I'd be real pissed off if it's fake.. Cuz I paid high bucks for in 2 years ago .. I guess I'll just drill a hole and put a plastic insert and a little silicon on it.. Thanks guys

Don’t mean to revive an old thread but I also have this issue. Mine is genuine odula. It came with stickers and everything yet it didn’t have a hole for the nub. Did you end up drilling into the wing?

Would highly recommend modifying the wing and not the OEM wing stands to preserve the original part should you possibly change your mind. Aftermarket stuff will always be produced while the OEM mazda stuff will not.

If you drill into the wing, do anything you can to prevent cracking...on my hood I put a few layers of tape and drilled through but someone else can chime in with a better method.
