HELP! need to know where this goes!

just dropped my new engine in and i found a sensor that i can't for the life of me remember where it goes!

it looks like that goes on the spark plug side of the engine. the manual should be able to help you with the rest.

It goes in the front housing above the spark plugs you will see a tapped thread in the housing where it goes, this is the knock sensor.

thanks :-) i noticed a tapped hole on both housings though... why are there 2?

That would be because the housings are identical just stamped F and R, they all come out of the same mould.
