Help my FD is a duck!

I hear a quacking sound along with the blow off noise (vented stock ABV and CRV T'd together).
I'm non-seq mostly the right way except I have my gate wired open.
Using Profec A for boost control.

I have a hot air intake ( 2 open cone filters) and an old PFS or Pettit IC.

Any ideas? Need more info? Link to mods in sig.

Thanx!

Even when non-seq? I can understand how it would suck for sequential. Oh well if I can't get it working then maybe I'll try and trade it for a B

Does it only happen when your boost is climbing, or anytime you are driving?

I had a similiar problem and it was only when boost was building. The sound was horrible. It turned out to be a bad hose to the BOV.

no it only happens when I boost hard and let off the gas. First the BOV goes Whooosh and the the duck goes Qaaaack or maybe more of a goose honk.

sounds like noise from the airpump, boost hard into high rpms then you let off and the rpms drop the pump kicks on and thats what you hear, some vibration in the airpump

the airpump is disconected both electrically and via the hose. It just freewheels on the pully. I have my sdcondary air injection stuff removed and blocked off.

I honestly don't know. I just know some friends with DSMs have ran them and have since sold them or burned them.

I had a similar sound After the BOV went it said HONK! It ended up being a check valve in the wrong hose.(I switched the hoses for the press. tank and the one for the gr/black check valve to UIM.) I'm not positive on the non-seq. set-up (how many check valves you keep or whatnot!) Hope that helps! My noise came strongly from the drivers side of the engine bay.

I second the check valve thing. When I was diagnosing my seq. boost issue, I was testing a check valve, and when pushing air through it the way air is supposed to flow, it quacks like a duck. You'll just have to test yours to find out.
