You guys are funny. I am torn between stock or modified. Maybe in the future RX-7s will be worth more stock but mine won't have 8.8K in the future. It's not a daily D but I will enjoy it. Not to mention I'm 50 years old. I've gotta get while the gettin is good. That's what my daddy used to say.

No seriously. Dont mod the car... At all. It will be worth something one day. I will guarantee that. Just sell it and buy a higher mileage FD, then mod the **** out of that. That way, you dont ruin a perfect car, and you get the power your looking for.

Well, you can get one with 50k on it, a few basic mods, in excellent condition for $5-10k less. It will look just as good as the 9k car, except for the odometer. There is no difference as far as enjoying it for regular fun driving, except that you're taking an extraordinary FD and making it very ordinary.
