Help Me!!! Please Take Your Time To Help Me

ok here it goes. i bought a fd3s 3 months ago and while in that 3 months i only had the chance to drive it 1 1/2 week. when i bought the car i drive and look at the car to see if its running ok, but it was leaking oil from the oil pan...well, i talk with the dealer (where i bought the car from) and the financial guy says its no big of a deal and he told me that i can take it to any shop and my warrenty will cover it at the same time i the check engine light comes on and off, so i drove 100miles back home and the next day took it to mazda. they took a look at it and did have this list:
engine needs to be torn apart to see where the leaking from. looks like engine's leaking, turbo's leaking, trany's leaking, coolant's leaking, powersteering, dynosis was needed, the tech put dye in the engine did a test and oil seem to be leaking when RPM is at 2500 and up. check engine light code **** (i'm not really sure what the codes are) intake temperature sensor code ****, and water temperature code ****. so i figure that my warrenty will cover it. the service adviser called up my warrenty and they had a jesture came out to take a look at my car. after jesture left the service adviser call me up and say they wont cover the problem because the car was a "pre-existence" car. so i lost 150bux and i was MF PIISSSSS! i called up the dealer where i bought it from told them and they say they will fix whatever is needed to be fix, just have the list for them, soo i thought it was cool. drove 100miles, took it over there and gave the tech the list and he say "dont worry everything will be fine". it'll only take a week to seal the leaking. i came back home and hoping that everything was going to be FINE. well i keep calling them up week after week and they say they are on it, dont worry bout it, everything is "OK" FUKING 1 1/2 month later, yesterday friday, i went to pick up the car cauz i call them up and they say "the car is FINE its running FINE no problem at all, come pick it up". well, i got there start up the engine, i notice that the engine's idol was running at 3k RPM like even before i took it back there and the CHECK engine light was coming on and off. they suppose to change my brakes and battery cauz i bought the car and it was like that. my struts are fcking making noise. i even told him over the phone to fix all of those and he say YES he will. FUKIN LIER! so i told the tech that my check engine light comes on and off and it was running like before were the RPM will run at 3k for 10secs and then drops while making some poping noise from the exhaust"like before". i told him why did the engine have that "Sss Sss" sound like the engine is really hot, or how every engine is when its hot, but mine, i just started for 3mins and its already like that, and he told me that he dont know how rotary engine runs. i also told him did you check why my CHECK engine light was coming on, and he say YES. he did there where some codes that came on his tester but he didn't know what those codes where"**** what kind of F'n tech are you!!!, dont tell me that!" i didn't say it but, thats wat i was thinking... and when i ask him again, he say the check engine doesn't come on when he check the check engine light, even when he drove it too. sooo then he told me to take it for a test drive and i did. i came back and told him that the car seem to be driving like before. check light comes on and off and the engine was making some popping sound from exhaust like before, even when i drive it too. the tech told me that they check everything and it was running normal when they test the car(F'n they drive test the car for over than 100miles, i remember cauz of my gas tank that i fill up and the milage)F'n MOOFOS. so i did some looking for myself and seem that there were still some leaks from the bottom of the car, i couldn't see the oil pan but it seems to drip to the medal frame, i told the tech, tech told me that it was the left over oil stain and the engine needs to be stem clean. so i touch the oil, seems cool, wasn't hot...so i ask him is it the powersteering or brakefluid leaking? "NO no leaking, just stained oils that has been heated and drips again". he also told me that he went threw the oil pan and seal the big leaks. evening came so i told him that i gtg so i left. on the Freaking way home, the car will suddently shutsdown while the check and battery light comes on. and whenever the check light comes on the engine runs like it doesn't have enough air(sufficating) and about to die out. Freaking happen 5-6 times while coming home and i didn't want to go back because it was my only ride home.

so to get to the point. seems like the leaking stopsi feel like i already pay 2months already and only got to drive it for 1 1/2 week. i'm not getting **** out of what i'm hearing. i'm **** AS FCK! i know i'm not taking my car back to them ****** cauz they dont know what the fck they doing. i was hoping that they'll do the job right and they didn't. i even ask my boss, and techs at the dealer where i work at even they told me that the car was fck up even the first day i took it back home. and i even still have the list of what the tech wrote for me that work at mazda for 3 years. all you guys out there i really need your help cauz i dont know what the fck the dealer that i bought the car from is playing me. i really want to know from small dealer owner too cauz you will really help a lot. what should i do? one of they guy from where i work at told me to take it to mazda to get of the list that needs to be fixed and call up the dealer and give them the list. if they dont want to pay for the fix, then get a lawsuit. and thats what i'm heading towards right now where i'm standing at... i dont want to cauz any trouble but i really need as much HELP as i can get.. thanks, very appreciate for reading this far.

Dude! Take the car back to the dealer and get your money back. It obviously wasn't running right when you bought it. Take it back and buy an FD that has been well taken care of. I think that is your best bet. Just get rid of the car.

Basically, you have two options:

1. Keep jacking with the dealer until everything is fixed.
2. Cut your loses, take it to a reputable shop and pay to have it fixed properly.

Take your pick...

This is why people without mechanical ability should avoid FDs.

I'm with Mahjik, take the car to a reputable shop. I know you're listed as "Kali" and all - but what part of California are you in, ummm, Gen X booster?

Gawd, my eyes started to hurt about half way through it...

It's supposed to run up to 3k RPMs when it is started. Thats the accelerated warmup process.

...and poping in the exaust? You must have never been around an RX7 before.

Sounds like some **** didn't do his homework and decided to get trust some f'ng used car salesman. Learn your lesson and get it inspected by a rotary specialist before you buy.

Search 'Check Engine Light' so you know how to read the ECU code yourself. Get it inspected by a specialist on the leaks. Stop dicking around with dealer and used car salesman. Fix it - bill the guy that sold you the car or get rid of the car.

Man, I think the word you were searching for here is adjustor, lol. Unless you had some guy from King Arthur's court come out to amuse you. Oh and you were pissed not PISSSSS. Anyways, if the adjustor said it was a pre-existing condition then I would tell the dealer ship that and tell them you want your money back or you plan to get a lawyer and fight them UNLESS they told you all these problems the car had before you bought it which I am sure they didn't. Good luck.

there isnt such a thing as a dealer who can fix an fd lol.

you got ripped off man....sorry for that.

your car has many problems.

if you are in the LA or SD area...take your car to rotary reliability and racing. ask for nick or louis 714-8398018

explain to them what is wrong...they will go through the car and give you a breakdown of what is actually wrong and what is not.

rule number one. NEVER EVER drive an rx7 that is broken. EVER. call a cab...walk....or you will spend thousands fixing it later. if something is wrong..pull over. call your relatives. tow it.

nick and louis will be able to help you. if you are in northern cali then call srmotorsports and see if they can take a look at it for you. m2 may be able to help you as well. if you are in LA..rotary reliability and racing will know what is wrong and how to fix it immediately.

Sounds to me like the guy was venting and wasnt paying attention to spelling.Anyways do like everyone says.Either find another mazda dealership with rotary specialists or even better go to people that work on them day in and day out.Spend a hundred bucks and get yourself a quote and a list of whats actually wrong with it and then call up the dealership.Oh by the way how long is your warranty good for?Sounds to me like theyre wasting time and stalling untill your warranty is up.And then youre fucked and you can pretty much kiss theyre ***.When you call them up tell them whats up.Grab your ***** and be a man.Tell them whats really wrong with the car and also theyre options. They can fix it.Which I personally wouldnt even bother with or they can pick up the tab for the shop where you got your estimate/diagnostic done.If they do not want to work with you on it then take the damn thing back, tell them its a lemon, and if they have a problem with it they can talk to your lawyer.

My advice is do not take it to Mazda, EVER! I have many bad experiences when i was a newbie like yourself. I was able to fix most of my problems myself after spending a lot of time reading up and learning everything i could about the car. Now anything that goes wrong, I try to fix myself.

As for your situation, you should find a reputable rotary mechanic and have all the problems fixed properly. Your car may end up in a worse condition after the dealer is done with it. It will be worth the money to have it fixed at a good rx-7 shop, even if the warranty will not pay for it. The warranty will be useful in the future in case something major happens, like a blown motor, tranny, etc. Also it won't hurt to talk to a lawyer if you feel you are really being screwed by these dealers. Good luck though.

Genxbooster,
I have worked in dealerships for 20 years. The good used cars are good before they’re traded in. The dealer won’t spend what it takes to make it a quality car. Your best bet is to get them to buy it back. If the dealer is not a Mazda shop they wont really be able to fix the problem at any cost so, if you’re going to keep the car. Take it to a real Mazda shop and get an estimate. Take it back to the dealer and tell them your going to have the Mazda shop do this work and get the money from the dealer in small claims court. Maybe then the dealer will decide to buy it back. If not you’re stuck with the car you have a good chance of winning a small court case. Most often dealers get hammered in court based on reputation. Good luck, John
