$4,900 bucks for a 3rd gen something more has to be wrong. The a/c depends because there are many different things that could go wrong. You should drive the car and have a mechanic look at it before anything. Run a vin check on it also. The scratch can be fixed by any qualified auto body shop. Or ask turbojeff about that subject

Whenever you cannot get a phone number - it's usually a scam. And with 1 mile you can count on it.

This folks have no life.....

i'm wondering about the " up for auction " in his ad.

the best thing to do is try to contact him and see it in person, otherwise don't bother

I traded my 93 a year ago for 90 300Z NA and I also turned over 1500. My car needed alot of work and ultimately a new engine. The new owner put in over 8 Gs in six months and by now probably significantly more. So yeah I think its for real. He is probably a really honest guy like me maybe.

http://used-cars.autos.yahoo.com/use...-3363053#image

Hello ,my name is Doris Dennis !!! Here are all the infos you need to know about this car !!!

This is a 1993 Mazda Rx-7. It is fully equipped with power windows and door locks and mirrors. You will also find tan leather seats and a power moonroof.

Engine:

The engine is a 1.3 liter twin turbo rotary engine. It has 135,000 miles on it. The previous owner told me he re-built the motor 3500 miles ago. I could put you in contact with him if you would like to ask him any questions about this.

It has a five speed manual transmission.

The ignition switch assembly is brand new and the car has only been driven about 200 miles since this was done.

Exterior:

Complete Bomex Body Kit molded to the car.

Entire Car painted Prowler Orange, even windshield wipers. Painted on 6-10-04

Brand New 19" CHROME Motegi Rims with Nitto Tires. NO SCRATCHES AT ALL ON RIMS!

Very Sharp Sleek Headlight Kit.

Painted Rear Spoiler.

Shaved Antenna and Shaved Rear Wiper.

Lowered 2 Inches with Sprint Lowering Springs.

Diamond Plate Above Exhaust, very nice touch.

Interior:

Custom Painted Orange Dash and Door Trim, with Carbon Fiber on Passenger Side.

Brand New Steering Wheel.

Color-Matching Ractive Shift ****.

PERFROMANCE:

Twin Turbos

HKS Down pipe

HKS Mid Pipe

HKS Super Dragger Exhaust

HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve (SSQ BOV)

HKS Super Flow Dual Air Intake

Venom High Flow Fuel Pump

B&M Short Throw Shifter

MSD Wires

APEXI 2MM Seals

APEXI Power FC Computer

APEXI Power FC Commander

Phantom Air/Fuel Gauge

Phantom Boost Gauge

Eclipse 5 Volt CD Player

Rockford Fostgate 1200 Watt Amp

Custom Fiberglass Subwoofer Box

2 Alpine Type R 12 Inch Subwoofers

Cons:

Sometimes the transmission rakes going into 5th gear. I've been told that this is a common problem with these cars.

The anti-freeze overflow bottle leaks.

There is a rip in the driver?s seat. The seat is still very comfortable to sit in and the rip cannot be noticed while you are sitting in the car.

There is a scratch on the driver?s side by the headlight no bigger than the size of a dime, and one on the left rear by the trunk lid about an inch long.

Currently, the stock computer is installed in the vehicle. The APEXI computer needs to be installed and dyno tuned. The FC Commander for the APEXI Computer has already been flush mounted into the center console and looks very slick.

I have never tried to use either the Air Conditioning or the Heater, but the previous owner told me that the AC does not work.

This car sounds amazing! The high end stereo system hits very hard and sounds very clear with no distortion. Additionally, the exhaust on this car is VERY LOUD. If you think that the coffee can mufflers on the Civics these days sound mean, then you are in for a real treat! The high pitched blow off valve also sounds incredible.

I want you to know that for the moment I'm in London,England with my familly. My husband is british and since he got a very good job offer here and he wanted to be closer to his family we decided to try our luck here. Our kids loved the ideea and here we are.

The price is $5500 !!!You probably ask yourself why I sell it so cheap! Well ,we have some financial difficulties...the movement expenses were more then we expected so i've decided to sell the car in order to pay my debts.I've tried sell it local, but since the car is registered in US (so no import taxes )and it has the steering wheel on the left side of the car, nobody wants it.To register the car here is very expansive and you know that the british models have the steering wheel on the right side of the car.Thats why i'm trying to sell it back to US.If you're interested in my car i want you to know that i'll take care of the shipping costs.

The car will be shipped through Auto Car Transport,so the car will be insured against all damages. My brother in law works at this company and he can get me a 45% discount. The shipping will take about 7,8 days.
Let me know if you're still interested so we can move on with this deal!!!

I hate to sell it but it's nothing I can do!!!
Thanks for your time!!!

just got another email

Hi,

I understand your concerns that's why I thought of something secure for both of us,you can even test the car ,so please let me know what you think...
If we'll do this asap I will let the price down at $5200,cause I have to pay some house's bills back in states and I'm in a hurry...The rest of the money I will raise it to purchase a car...
To show you that this is a serious deal I have a suggestion for you:
we will use The Money Gram company .
You send the money to another name than mine using the Money Gram company. You can send it to your brother's name for example or what name you choose. After that I check the money and if they are there I will send you the car.
I want you to send half of the money $ 2600 ...the other half after you'll recieve the car...
After you get it and you check if everything it's ok with the car,you will go to a money gram office and change the receiver name to my name so that I will be able to pick up the money. So I am sure that you are a legitim buyer and you are sure that I am not able to pick up the money. If you send the money to whatever name you want here in London,UK nobody can pick it up.
It doesn't matter the address where you must send the money ,only city and country ...London ,UK.

The best way for me to check if you sent the money is to scan the receipt and email to me!!!The idea is that I don't require an upfront payment, but only a payment proof that will show me you have the money and you're willing to pay.I need the reciept scaned cause I need it to make a bill of sale with my lawyer...I have to have a proof that you gonna owe me another $2600 ...I will send the bill sale along with car and the title signed .You'll have to sign it and fax it back to me...So I can be sure that I will get the rest of the money...My lawyer advised me to do this...

When you will go to the money gram office to wire the money sometimes they ask you why are you doing that.If you will tell them that they are for something you have bought,I will have to pay when I pick up the money a very expensive tax for makeing comerce. This is the part where I lose.I can avoid paying this money. If they ask you that you can tell them that the money are for a relative. In this case I don't have to pay any taxes.
I hope you will understand me.Anyway I will loose money cause the car is cheaper and I will take care of the shipping. But I need this money so bad cause I've got some financial problems. I can avoid paying another tax at money gram. The part where you lose is represented by the fact that if I tell them that indeed I have deliverd you the car ,you will have to pay also a great amount of money as a custom duty which for a brand new item like this is very big maybe 1/3 from the price of the car.We can avoid paying this money by doing this way.
After you'll recieve the car you can test it and after that everything we'll be OK you'll change the reciver's name into mine, but I assure you that the car is in good condition. I hope I can trust you with the rest of the money...
If you are agree the I will make the shipping arrangements. After it will be sent it will take 6,7 days till the car it will be delivered.I will know for sure after I will make the arrangements.
This is very easy. I think this is the safest solution possible. If you agree with this than we can close the deal.
Hope to hear from you soon!!!

So just drop it, and if you find more ads like this and are contacted by the people, simply let the place where the ad is know about the scam, and they'll remove the ad. It's the best way to deal with these *******.

Even if it wasn't a scam, it doesn't sound like you should even be thinking about one of these cars.

Ha, I have seen this scam many times. My Dad almost bought a 350z this way from italy. Cheap price, free shipping, need to get rid of the car quickly due to financial trouble. But when he offered to fly to Italy to look at the car nad potentially buy it, it "had been sold." If this is the real deal (it isnt) I will go to this chicks house in London and check the car out myself. Just let me know, she can drive it and meet me somewhere.
