Exclamation Help me Decide

Ok I just purchased a FD with damage to the front bumper but runs fine. I want to know where to start though. should I start with the body adding the body kit I like and paint it the innocent blue mica that I want to or do all the go fast stuff first? the only reason I wouldn't do the body and paint stuff first is because what happens when I go to install all the go fast stuff and I scratch it or something? what do you all suggest paint&body first or mod first?

I would say get the bumper and headlight first so you can drive it to see how good the car is mechanically.

If the car is mechanically flawless, then think about mods or a paint job. I tend to want to look good. It's a shame to have a fast but dinged up car. However, it's not that bad to have an all stock car that looks and performs flawlessly.

How soon do you plan to do the body if you start with the mods? I would at least get the body to the point that you can drive the car before doing engine mods. Despite how it often sounds, most cars need a fair amount of basic maintenance before modding, and it is rare that you can just bolt everything on and have it work right.

I estimate that about half of what I have spent on my mods has been for installation/tweaking/tuning or pulling one mod off to install another. Things don't often just "work" as they seemingly should. Getting a car sorted out is an iterative process.
