These pads are the choice of most street driven FD drivers. I don't have personal experience with them, but I have heard great things about them.

Hawk HPS is the best pad for the money. Pegasus racing sells them for $37, Tirerack sells them for $40. It's easy on rotor, little dust, no squel, fade resistent (on street), long lasting. It's pretty comparable to stock pads except it fades less.
The Green pad is also good but needs more to heat up but fades even less. However, it's about twice as much as HPS.
There are extensive discussions from the past. Do a search on brake pad.

Well for street use I use Axxis Metal Masters. They dont dust any that I have noticed in the past 10 months of use. Also they grab well without needing heat up but will burn right off if used on the track. The discussion was for street pads. The hawks I have seen dust as much or more than stock. They all claim to have little to no dust but the truth is the Axxis Metal Masters either do not dust or its not noticeable with the rest of the road grime. I am happy with them and I am hard on brakes even on the street. I also am using Cross drilled Powerstop Rotors as well. and have only been happy with the combo up to this point. EBC's are good. The green pads are a bit more $$ and I dont see the point paying that much for street pads. If you want the Axxis Metal masters here is the link I bought mine from as well as the Rotors. https://www.olyonline.com/Autospec.htm

I don't think the stock or HPS dusts too much at all. They are pretty comparable in terms of dusting. I think your drilled rotors are the cause to more dusting. I am glad to hear that Axxis Metal Masters work well for you. I've heard good things about them but I don't know if they work well under lots of downhill braking.
