Mainly for tech purposes for Solo1. Going by CACC rules I have to have a full on battery box if the battery is mounted in the car and the trunk is already minimal to begin with. Since I will still be driving this car on a daily basis I want to keep as much space useable as possible.

I would consider the bracket that Jason mentioned. I would never consider reducing the size of my intercooler or the work involved to accommodate a battery issue. If nothing else. I would relocate it to the bin with a fitted box. More work, but in the long run, your intake temps will thank you for the added cooling.

+1.

A properly ducted, medium SMIC is plenty for the OP's setup. Also get cold air into the intakes. The fluidyne is a fine radiator choice with good fitment.

In a hot southern climate, a v-mount is the setup of choice; however, it is a large undertaking to do it properly. (I'm speaking from experience.)

Ignore the guys that tell you have to change everything. You don't.

the picture on RX7store shows an A/C condenser installed. This looks like it will do the job.

I would go with the simplicity of the M2, but when you compare the cost of one of those SMIC's VS. this v-mount the obvious choice is the v-mount.

Now I just need to pinch my pennies for a few weeks and go for it. My new shortblock really ate into my car fund!... these cars are a neverending money pit it's unreal.
