Help loss of power over 4500 rpms
1993 TWIN TURBO THE SYMPTOMS ARE AS FOLLOWS WHEN ACCELERARING SMOOTHLY SHE SEEMS TO RUN VERY WELL UPTO AROUND 4500RPM THEN FADES IT SOUNDS LIKE A MISSFIRE A VERY LOW PICHED BRRRRRRRRRRRR keep your foot hard down it continues take foot of the gas goes back to normal after some kangaroo jumping surging. When you accelerate hard foot full down picks up then just dies in the same manner. When no load she revs fine on hesitation it only happens when under load. Any ideas please could it be timing. If it is timing how can I correct it not having computer equipment in the Philippines.

CHECK YOUR MAP SENSOR, IT IS A LITTLE BLACK BOX ATTCHED TO THE FIREWALL BEHIND THE INTAKE ELBOW AND SHOULD HAVE A VACUUM LINE RUNNING TO IT COMING FROM THE backside of the upper intake manifold.
It can't be timing, because timing on the 3rd gens is controlled by the computer and is not adjustable. Start off simple, check all both of the following as read above, and let us know if anything changed
What does your boost gauge read as you hit 4500?
If you don't have one, install one. Even if it's temporary to solve this problem.
You'll also want to use some WD-40 on your shift keys.

Next step please
We have checked everything on the forums. The one thing we saw is that you have no boost. We placed a boost gauge and ran the car. The boost would not go up. Unfortunately, we don’t do any turbo works. We have done a leak test on your hoses and there was no leak. Map sensor is ok.
We don’t know which shop can help you on the turbo. The idle and smoke, which was your main concern, is now solved.

This is not a problem with the turbos themselves. This is almost certainly a problem in the turbo control system or a leak in the piping. Since you're confident it's not a piping leak, it's time to dig into the vacuum hoses and start by looking for loose hoses, broken/faulty check valves, or misrouted hoses.
