Which plugs don't match? JDM engines typically do not have EGR or AWS.

Take some pics man I should be able to help as we only have the JDM engines here. Also do you know what year of FD your engine came out of? if its 96 up, I guarantee you will have to swap over to your original US setup as the wiring looms completly change from 96 up!

If you have one from a later model which had the "black box" as opposed to the solenoid rack, you'll probably have to find someone with a damaged harness and get their connectors to splice in.

Sorry, I had that backwards. If you have the "black box" instead of the solenoid rack, then you'll need to identify which connectors are for the proper turbo control and then "wiring up something" to connect to them. That could be something from a JDM harness or something custom.

Is this what you have?

My advice would be to buy someone's US spec solenoid rack (and solenoids). Then your harness will plug right up. They are always up for sale as people go single turbo or non-sequential.

Yes, the US based models ONLY had the solenoid rack. They never saw the updated "black box" as it's commonly referred to.

Just thought I would give you my 2 cents on this.

If you have a late model engine, the wiring harness is not only different with what it connects to but the wiring is configured completley different and not only that the ecu plugs will NOT go into your ecu as they went from an 8bit to a 16bit setup so alot of the connectors changed!

Another thing you need to know is with the series 7 and 8 engines the loom for the gearbox is not part of the ECU harness like it is in the series 6 (first 3rd gen 1991 - 1995) harnes. The newer version gearbox loom connects to the cars main harness in the engine bay, NOT the ECU loom like the earlier model.

If it were me I would source a used engine harness, rats nest, emissions plate and coils packs etc as they are all different!!!

Trust me it is more trouble than its worth to keep the newer stuff in than to replace it with older series 6 stuff.
