Help with J&S dual Monitor

I just bought a Dual monitor from J&S but it did not come with instructions on hooking it up.. I have three wires, black, white, and bare metal.

What goes where and does it connect to the J&S unit or is it standalone?

Thanks for any help

Chris

Mine had an 1/8" mini stereo connector like a walkman.

It sounds like you will need to solder on the connector yourself and then plug it into the jack on the J&S.

Mine is an older model and not the newest "Ultra" version. So yours may be different.

Thanks for the advice gordon but I think I will continue to use it. Mine is set pretty low. When I had it set to maximum I rarely saw any lights. I now have it set to about 50% after using if for about 2 yrs. I did notice it working really well one time when I got some bad gas. The car ran badly and I got several lights. I suspected bad gas because of the unusual amount of rain we recently got. After that tank was gone I put some injector cleaner in and some good gas and never saw the lights again - until recently when I think I got another bad batch of gas. I am using a PMS piggyback. I just bought the new 2" dual gauge but there is not instructions for the three wires. I know the wire plugs into the back of the gauge but from there I am lost - 3 ends with not recognizable configuration. I guess I will just call them tomorrow.
