Help...issue with rebuilt alternator

I had my alternator rebuilt, installed it and now having issues.

I removed this alternator about a year ago because it wasn't charging correctly. Since it's polished i decided to have it rebuilt. I picked it up last week and installed it. When i put the positive cable back on the battery it immediatley popped the 300 amp breaker i installed. I thought it might have been a bad breaker so i replaced it with a new one...same thing happened. I hooked my old alternator up and no issues.

Any ideas why the rebuilt alternator would pop the breaker...

It's popping the breaker right away...the car is not started.

Thanks for your help.

It was rebuilt by a very reputable company in DFW...It has to be the alternator popping it because i unhooked and unplugged it and then hooked and plugged my old one in and no problems.

Thoughts???

Take it back to the rebuilder, there's a dead short inside it.
