Help installing innovate wideband kit XD1 and LC1

I have attempted to install this thing and am having no luck. I have read the manual 5 times and gone to the web site. All I get are the "- --" on the XD1.

I need idiot instructions. Me being the idiot Where does each wire go? I am not using a LED light. Step by step please...This thing is driving me nuts!!!

Thanks...

Could be a communication issue between the LC1 and the XD1.

Make sure the terminator plug (the lone plug with no wires) is connected to the IN cable of the LC1. The OUT from the LC1 should then go to the IN on the XD1.

Check this out also: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/s...Quickstart.pdf

I put mine in the stock O2 location. The wires ran in through the passenger side fender-well route where all the other wires go (need to take off the passenger tire and the fender liner to get to it easily, it comes out near the glovebox.

I am thinking my problem is that terminator plug. It's sitting in the bag with some extra screws. I will try that tomorrow.

thanks....

Yes without the terminator plug it definately wont work... so that's the most likely issue.

Didn't read the instructions eh?

You can hook the analog-1 output up to the stock o2 wire and it simulates a narrowband o2 output, so the engine ECU still gets the o2 signal it was looking for. I cut the wire off my stock o2 sensor and connected the analog1 output to the connector so I could then easily just plug it in to the plug on the engine harness.

How many wires are in the stock o2? If I put the wideband in the stock bung, is it to close to the engine or turbo? Doesnt need to been more down stream in the dp?

There are some other threads and discussion around regarding closeness to the turbo and such - I've had no issues with mine so far.

The stock O2 sensor is a 1-wire narrowband sensor.

The sesor location is sufficently buried that it's impossible to get a decent picture of it... I'd say it's about 18" back from the turbos, on the downpipe (not a stock precat/downpipe though)

Mine is in my Mid-Pip just before the resonator and just after the DP...mounted at about 11:45 position lol. and ran the wires in the passenger side and up to the a-pillar gauge pod.

Did you get your pic for me of where you mount the wideband and the way you ran the wires?
Thank you for doing this for me.
