http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/support.php , pull the O2 sensor out and re perform the free air calibration via the switch if you wired it in, or via the software, once its done then reinstall it, you may also want the check the programming via the software and link cable to ensure you are on gasoline for the 14.7 Air to Fuel

Do you have the innovate gauge? if so just unscrew the sensor exposing it to free air, your your key to acc, and press the small button on the front of the gauge 3 times to initiate free air cal. ALSO check and make sure everything is grounded properly.

If your gauge = XD-16, you dont have to wire in a calibration switch because it is built into the gauge.

If your gauge = plain vanilla gauge, you need to wire in the switch and LED. This is only needed during the calibrations so you could theoretically just create some kind of temporary grounding wire....

I made a small box mounted under the glove compartment for this purpose. I regret not buying the XD-16 kit as it is a far cleaner setup.

That's normal to go to 21. You're off throttle... no fuel is getting to the engine so yes technically you are running "lean" but this is fine.

What mode are you in? As in what is it set to read? It could be set to read something other than gas.

I made a couple Innovate LC-1 threads a while back. It's important that you run all your main ground wires to the same spot... EXCEPT for the blue one from the controller, the heater ground. I know that diagram is for the XD-16 but it shows what I'm talking about with the grounding. The ground for the gauge and then the white and green wires from the controller should all go to the same place. The blue wire should be grounded to a separate bolt. I would put the black wire (for the switch) with the blue or ground it separately, I'm not sure if it matters or not.

I also pull the +12V for the gauge and for the controller all from the same place.

The XD-16 is an expensive gauge but man it is SO much better than most of the wideband gauges I've seen out there. It has a serial connection to the controller and has a very fast display rate. The AEM and the Innovate DB gauge (the plain looking one) are slideshows in comparison, very choppy under WOT.

I completely agree. I had the AEM unit before my LC1/XD-16 and it is no where near as nice. VERY simple to use with lots of nice, easy to access/use features. I would really bet the OP has a grounding issue as well.

It is really not that complex to install. Takes a couple hours, but most of that is running wires. Very easy to set up, calibrate, and log. It comes with computer harness and software to log.

Don't get me wrong. The LC-1 is a bitch compared to other widebands. It's a lot more sensitive, but when you have it installed the way it was intended to be installed it's great.

is the air pump still plugged in? you need to unplug the air pump for the wideband to read correctly when idle and cruising...
