Help identifying Cable
Hi im currently soundproofing my FD, and sorting all the cables out fitting launch control will do a post on it later. Ive found a cable that doesn't go anywhere but looks like it should..
(Boot panels removed)
If you stand from the rear of your FD,
inside the boot,
under the right hand side light,
where the gap is into the right hand side arch,
Theres a cable that runs down from the boot into there if you follow the cable down there seems to go into the fuel tank i think!! (is it possible an earth for the fuel tank) my fuel gauge works fine btw ive attached pic hope they help.

If the cable you are talking about just hangs loose on the trunk and has a white electrical connector on the end of it....but is connected to nothing, then I think I may have the same cable....
My car is an R2 model (the R models came without a rear windshield wiper) and the only thing I can think of is that it would connect to the rear wiper if I had one.
Is your 7 an R1 or R2 model??
That is my best guess anyway!! Anyone else any ideas on this??
