Hi Guys,

Im gonna dyno tune my car on the weekend, My current mods include

Microtech Computer
Series 5 hi flow turbo
Exhaust, with 2.5inch midpipe
Air Filter
Standard clutch
Shortshift

Wondering how many pound boost should i set it at on the dyno, i am currently running stock boost, i don't want to overboost, cuz i want it reliable, i was thinking 10 or 11 psi,

My car has done 94000kms, hasn't had a rebuild yet as well

What do you guys think??

Also is it possible to boost the car without a boost controller??

with that short shifter, you should be fine at 10psi...but I have no idea why you'd put a series 5 turbo on an FD?

 

The old owner put the turbo in, so im unsure, i thinks its a pretty small t04,

Also what sparkies should i be running for this setup??

You will only get boost creep, more so when the weather is colder. Try get hold of a boost controller for more consistant pressure.
