Help! How do I quiet this annoying noise?

Ok see the picture...

Anyway, its the hose that comes from under the UIM and goes into the stock air intake box, (goes though a foam silencer in the box, then vents out below the air box.

When I put in my intake setup, i put just a breather filter on the hose (circled in pic), but even with the filter, it makes such a loud 'drowning' sound. I checked it out, and the sound is normally silenced by the foam in the stock air box, but without the airbox, how do I quiet this noise? I tried putting foam down the hose, but because the hose vents out air, the foam tries to shoot out, and sometimes even shoots the breather filter off.

This hose:

Any suggestions?

Here is a pic of my completed intake kit:

Kit includes:
1) Custom Heatshield
2) Two Polished 2.5" Intake Pipes
3) Two K&N Filters
4) Two K&N Breather Filters
5) 2nd Oil Coolder Duct "Ram-Air" Mod
Total Price paid for all parts: $170

get a cat, get rid of airpump or disable it, and then just block it off with a rubber cap

ok first off, i know its not true 'ram air', it is just providing some cooler fresh air from outside of the engine bay, but anyway...

well my car is at home this week (with a flat tire waiting for the new tire to come...) so i cant take more pictures till next weekend.

anyway, i did it the exact same as this:
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ake+oil+cooler

but I painted the visible part of the inside of the ducting black so it's not noticable.

(NOT MY PICTURE BELOW, BUT THIS IS HOW I DID IT

like i said, mine is painted black inside so there isnt any shiny stuff visible from the front

sure lets see a picture.

i think i may have muffled the noise on my own though.

i took a K&N breather filter, stuffed it with foam, then put a little bit of foam (from a sponge) down the hose before putting the filter on. I clampped the filter on really tight, and now it seems to be silenced and still look pretty.

Almost as quiet as stock. I'm trying to find a better one but I need to get my vacuum question answered in the other thread first.
