hElp....!! HelP ..! HeLp PleAseeee!! cAr wont start..!!

I have to my car to get the bodykits fitted last week. As a result the battery was disconnected for a week. But when i try to start it yesterday, it back-fired once i start the ignition, and then the car just wont start. And i can hear buzz sound coming out from the solenoid area. Is this a big problem..? or is the engine blown?
Help...please.. i am really worried

my mods are- pfc,de-cat(straight through pipe), trust downpipe. HKS Evc4, ARc radiator. HKs induction

A. Check to see if your battery is charged, kinda sounds like your batterys not at a full charge.

B. If your battery is at a full charge then you might want to try the "de-flood procedure" if you do a search you should find it.

It definately sounds like the batterys either not at a full charge or your car is flooded from sitting.

Sometimes it's called DE-flooding procedure and sometimes it's called UN-flooding procedure, depends on what you want to call it.

Here's the basics of it. It involves pulling the egi fuse turning the motor over a couple times(cranking it) every 1/2 hour I think twice with plugs removed. And then you put some Automatic Transmission Fluid, only a little in the 2 bottom plug holes in the housings. And you leave that sit for a little I think and then you start it. It creates a ton of smoke(from combusting the ATF) but some really flooded motors that have been sitting for a while it's the only way to get them started. My car was sitting for 6 months and I had to do this procedure, not even just new plugs would work for me. Although now that I think of it you may want to try replacing your plugs first with some new clean/dry ones and maybe it'll start up without going through the trouble of the unflooding procedure. Even if you eventually do the unflooding procedure you'll probably want to replace your old plugs anyways.

Do a search for "unflooding procedure" using the search function in the upper right hand corner. Search only in the 3rd gen forum, it'll come back with like 4 threads, in one of those threads there is a step by step for this procedure. I just covered the basics of it. The process takes a couple hours probably, but if you are familiar with your car(enough to pull and replace spark plugs at least) and have basic hand tools then you should be able to do it. Also I think the ATF helps to get rid of any un-burnt carbon that may be built up on your rotors.
