Exclamation help guys!! crazy stalling...

guys, my idle is rock steady with none of the electrical loads on...as soon as I put anything 1 thing on... {rear defog, heater fan on 2nd speed or above, 1st click of the lights} my idle goes crazy, usually stalls

Im getting 18 on the vacuum, normal boost, in fact driving is all normal, til I come to a stop with any electrical load on...
any help appreciated guys, thanx!

I'll have that checked, thanks man...my car does start fine everytime though.......is an accurate way to verify disconnecting the negative battery cable and see if the car stays running?
any other ideas guyz!
btw, anyone got a rear drivers side speaker? {maybe both sides are the same}
thats not so important right now though, help me with this 'retarded idle when any lights or anything else is on' thing!

Check all your fuses. I'm not sure, but the ROOM or E/L might have something to do with it. Check your battery and alternator connections as well.

thanks for responding P'cola...

I checked the fuses, battery, alternator: all fine...
also, I have a Pettit ecu, and I also retried my stock one, same bullshit idle!

could an oxygen sensor thats fouled cause anything like this? {its less than a year old though} what are the symptoms of a bad o2?

by the way, anyone got that rear speaker?

Does the problem only occur when the car is in gear, but out of gear it's fine? If so, then it might be the clutch switch...that's a common failure on the FD.

The ECU doesn't use the O2 voltage at idle, so that won't cause your problem.

it does it anytime I have lights/accessories on {at a standstill}...doesnt matter if in gear or not....
could the small aluminum hose plug that comes with the apex intake have anything to do with this? {related to the airpump}

I had a similar problem with my car, when I first installed the Power FC. Turns out my h2o temp thermosensor was bad, causing the car to go rich and stall. I'd check the voltage to it, even if your not getting any error codes. Can you raise your idle by pressing on the gas pedal, then turn on the a/c and not kill the motor? Basically is your motor alright at higher rev's?

runs perfect, idles fine with no electrical load...

also guys, is there anything wrong with pulling the a/c fuse {15 amp} from under the hood? I read a post about that, and tried it for a few minutes, my car idled great, but I am still using the air pump and main cat...I noticed pulling the fuse seemed to stop it from running, any word on this?
