I don't have experiance with either one, but your probably best off searching around. You'll probably find your answer faster then someone responding because the exedy clutches have been discussed many times.

i run the Exedy Hyper Single and have posted extensively on it. unless you are making 425 rwhp or above or do alot of drag racing you would be better off w an organic setup.

that said i think the Exedy Hyper Single is every bit as good as i hoped it would be as to driveability, pedal effort and engagement. i pulled my motor 4 times in 04 and so i had lots of looks at it's wear and it looks real good.

a hyper single doesnt cope anywhere near as well (read: it doesnt) with drag launches as a twin, but is nice to drive...the cost difference between the uprated organic (metallic can be harsh your flywheel) and the hyper single doesnt really justify itself to the performance gains.

summary: if you're gonna batter your clutch...buy a twin, expensive to start with, but then you only have to buy plates after that (less than an organic kit) and the exedy twins are actually really nice to drive (make sure its a 'hyper' twin!!! with the sprung centre and 'cam' action cover)

otherwise...plump for the uprated organic, 90% of the hyper single at 60% the price...allegedly exedy are 'sorting' the hyper singles, warping/overheating issues, but the carbon hyper single's available now (not tested that yet)
