Help double throttle

I'm trying to research on the function of the Double Throttle system on our FD. Does any mazda/rx7 tech explain to me the purpose of the Double Throttle. Any help would be apreciated thanks

Yes. Also removed the double throttle plates themselves. Once you take off the UIM, it becomes obvious what you need to do.

Just jump right in there and get your hands dirty!

I removed mine and removed the middle piece that is left after removal. I havent had any problems with it being removed. I wouldnt do it with a stock ecu, but I have a PFC.

You can do this running a stock ECU, you just can't race the engine while it's cold. (you shouldn't do this anyway) but that's what the DT is for.

I've romoved mine with no ill effects. I also have a Jet hot coated one with the double throttle plates and rod already removed and block off plate installed. Let me know if your interested. Jack
