HELP! did hose job, new actuators, new solenoids.

I did the hose job today, and changed all of the actuators and solenoids from a buddys car that went single. I know that the actuators and solenoids are good(he had no boost issues). my problem has been a low secondary transition, and boost builds slowly to redline. (11-5-up to 9 by redline) I have no boost leaks. I have exhausted all of my possibilities. I was thinking that I may have a clogged cat? would that make any sense to anyone? I checked the play on the turbo shafts, and they feel really good, so I dont think the turbos are bad. I was thinking that the turbos may have some cracks in the exhaust housing, causing the wastegate to not operate properly.

If anyone has any Ideas, please let me know. Ive been going through this for some time now.

Well I don't think it's the cat, because wouldn't boost go down as rpm's go up?

And if you changed ALL of the actuators and lines, and ALL worked correctly before, then I'm stumped. Maybe it's the turbos themselves. Maybe the secondary is beginning to go and spooling up real slow (just a guess, I have no evidence of any kind to back this up)

Don't just assume that everything is good, start testing. Since you're fairly sure that the solenoids are good why don't you start by testing the vac / presh at each respective control part? That it, TCA, pre control, etc. See if they are getting the control signals that you would expect.

Maybe you connected something wrong?
