Help changing tranny fluid.

Is it absolutely necessary to replace the filler plug?

How hard is the job? How do you fill? Do you have to get a pump or something to squirt in the filler hole?

yeah its kinda hard to get it to pour in there. A lil siphon from pep boys should be no more than 10 bucks

Used a pump\container combo from PepBoys. There are 2 drain plugs, one fill. I did not replace any of them.

Alright then. Sounds good. I'll be doing it tommorow. What kinda differential fluid did you use? Maybe I'll wait til I change my differential bushings to do that.

I got 3 quarts of Redline MTL. I've just heard too many good things, and my tranny is a little notchy. I'm hoping this will help.

I sure wish I had a lift.
