help car wont start
In the last few days my car has been getting a harder and harder start. Then this morning it wont start at all. It will crank but just won't turn over. All the lights are working fine so the battery isn't dead. But it wouldnt crank if the battery was dead anyways. Yesterday I gave it a wash then I was backing it into the driveway and it stalled out. I tried to turn it on again but it wouldnt turn over. Then I let it sit fot a few minutes then it had a rough start but I did get it all the way in the driveway and let it sit till this morning. Then nothing. Its got at least a third tank of gas. Any thoughts?

Are theses symptoms of the car being flooded? It had been running fine, its just the starts were getting harder and harder. If the car had been running for a while before wouldn't it burn of any gas that got into the plugs?

It still could be a number of things, but starting off as treating it like a flooded car is the easiest thing to do first.

the last few days I have been driving it for at least 30 minutes everyday. And not short trips. Probably 15-20 miles one way. When I took it for a wash that was at the end of a 20 minute drive from work. I took it for a wash at the car wash down the street. Then it was a 2 minute drive home, but by no means were the majority of the drives short. I would think it was plenty of time for it to warm up. Also before I drive it I let it warm up for a few minutes. I never drive it cold.

I dont know how up to date the fuel filter is. I havent changed it within the 5 months that I have owned the car. I didnt notice anything else, just that the starts have been getting harder and harder the last few days. No check engine lights have popped up or warning lights.
