help: car randomly dies out while idling or driving

well, i just got my car back from the paint shop and now the car will start up and idle fine but then after a few min (about 2-3...sometimes longer) the car will just shut itself off.

when it would first stall out i wasnt able to start it without taking the plugs out and deflooding the engine...but now it seems to start up and just die out...i can only drive it maybe around a block or less before it stalls.

car is non seq, elimited mostly everything under the uim, 550s and 1300 injectors.

just changed spark plugs and all electrical works fine when it shuts off.

the shop replaced the 2 front fenders and doors...is there any wiring behind the driver fender that might cause this problem? also removed rear bumper. fuel pump seems to be working as my friend was thinking it could be the relay...

and reading on this forum about stalling issues im thinking its

fuel pump
relay
clutch switch?
coils

so if anyone might have any ideas about this it would be appreciated.

Thanks

no hunting...it'll start up normal, idle perfectly and then if its idling or driving the engine just shuts off at a random amount of time...i havent changed any power fc settings so im just thinking something fuel related mightve went bad?

most likely a power FC tuning issue, idle problems are common on the base map

From what i remember, the main harness runs inside the driver fender liner.

So im assuming its grounding itself out.

Not at all man. I was about to say the same thing. You might want to work and check over the littlest things first. then assume the worst(bigger issues)
keep us posted

lol i know, i suggested it because it happened to me a long time ago.

I always wondered why the car kept dying on me randomly and sometimes if i park at work, then come back and i get no power, then after a few tries, it starts up.

Found out the positive terminal was loose as hell and i guess wasnt making good contact.
