Exclamation HELP! Brakes stuck on...Just changed my rotors, now my car wont move.

Ok, what did I do wrong?

I just changed my rotors and rear pads. Got the wheels back on and now it feels like my parking brake or all the brakes on. I can't get the car move. I'm hoping it's just some small step that I missed.

Any suggestions would be really appreicated. Could the e-brake cable be snagged or something? I'm in the garage now and I'll be jacking the car up to see which wheels are stuck....

Can ya help a brother out?

Uh oh, My rear calipers are touching my rims. I think that either the slotted rotors that I bought off ebay are the wrong size or the pads are too thick.

assuming the brakes are applying themselves due to some kind of clearance issues.
I have seen where changing the master cylinder and having the rod too tight when cold will tend to lock up the brakes when the brake fluid gets hot and expands. You may have this type of issue happing. I would wonder as well about any E brake issues you may have caused. Did you have a chance to isolate the front or rear or any one corner??. Toss out some more details.

Are you sure you put the rotors on the same way they came off(lining up the lug patteren). Calipers bolted all the way down? Did you mix up the two caliper bolts?(they are two different types of bolts if I remember correctly) Just take it all back apart and do it again, the rear brakes are a piece of cake.

Yup, wheels need 1-2mm of additional clearance to spin freely. Wheel Spacers?

Damnit the new rotor hats are 1/8" or 2mm thinner than the old ones. There lies my problem. So do I sent them back or buy 2mm spacers? where do you even find those things?
