You should replace those hoses with some Viton tubing.
You can also make new pills yourself.
You can PM me if you want details on how to do this.

IF your boost pills are in the rubber hoses, you can simply take them out and put them in your new hose. If you are adventurous, then try Rob Robinette's manual boost controller.

one hose it connected from the precontrol actuator to the manifold (compressor) and the other is from the wastegate actuator to the manifold.

which are both right next to the primary turbine

Use 6mm hose ,buna N from the auto parts store is good of course viton is better. the long hose has the pill with the small hole the short hose holds the pill with the larger hole, Garfinkle makes pills for his customers also . You will need a set of numbered drills.

You can make new pills out of 1/4" dia aluminum barstock cut to 3/8" lengths.
Then drill a hole through the middle using numbered machinist drill bits.
Get a chart to convert the drill numbers to diameter in inches.
An indexing plate from your local hardware store will show you the conversion from drill numbers to inches and help you keep track of your numbered drill bits.

If you have access to a lathe, the pills will turn out great.
A drill press will also do the job as well if you are careful.

The pills you make yourself are actually better than stock since they cannot rotate in the line as the stock pills can.

BTW: Stock Pill sizes are:
Wastegate - 0.064in (Drill # 52)
Precontrol - 0.059in (Drill # 53)

You are right, since they are longer than stock pills, they won't turn in the hose. But the stock size hole in a longer peice of metal will increase air resistance through the pill and result in higher boost and prespool. Think about blowing through a straw that is 3 inches long, or 3 feet long. The longer straw has more air resistance!

Just something to think about.

Use Holley carb jets. They work great.

Agreed,

Hole sizes should be determined by the boost levels you get in your car.
Stock size holes may not be correct for your car (w/ x mods & x length pill).
Most people will run larger hole sizes than stock to bring boost back to safe levels after adding mods.

Just get two garden hose type little valves that you can buy at any home depot and install them in the lines with hose clamps and vary your pill size ..ie.. boost controller !!
