I used to have an old school bitz BOV. No sound adjustment came on it. The only one I've seen with the sound adjustment is the Apexi one.

BOVs aren't adjustable for sound realy. The spring is an adjustment so that you can determine when it lets off air vs when it leaks air. if it's leaking just tighten the spring until it doesn 't anymore.

hmmm, thats weird on my Blitz BOV I swear it was louder when I tightened it. Maybe I'll try it a little looser. Sorry for the NO help response, but I would just play with it and see what works best for you.

yeah ryan, thanks for checking up. I talked to "D" and he said he already burped the system, but when i opened the radiator cap, i could not see any water, so i put about 3 to 3 1/2 cups of water in the radiator. The temps have been fine since, i did couple pulls on the car and the temps hovered aboud 90 to 95, so it seems to be working. I added some water this morning also and it has been okay so far. I will keep you posted if u have any other suggestions please give them to me. But so far that is all i have done. Thanks Ryan

You can replace the mini filter with a megaphone kind of thing. I don't see how air can get sucked back in. Maybe the filter is some sort of silencer. Anyhow, you can unscrew the filter and screw on the megaphone thingamajig dealy part thingy.

did your blitz bov come with the new open end adapter? If you have it use that instead of the filter looking thing, it's louder that way.
