help with 99 spec wing

hey guys... got a bum deal on a 99 spec wing. long story short, it was supposed to be new and come with mounting hardware. does anyone have a picture of the hardware needed to mount the wing to the car?? also does anyone have a picture of the underside of the wing where it mounts to the body?? my wing seems to have some missing rubber seals, and some torn ones... so im going to have to find the propper gaskets to make it seal back up again. (i have all of hte parts to attach the wing center section to the sides). thanks guys! -heath

Well, here is a pic of mine.. It has thin rubber trim around the edge and the alignment pin removed (red arrow) as I didn't drill this hole on my hatch.

alignment pin? tell me more? whats supposed to be there? i have some plastic pins/clips that look like they pop into the rear deck (but they are on the bracket that is to the right of the one you marked with the arrow.

also, i wanted to know what gaskets (if any) go between the screw points and the hatch. lastly i wanted to see the bolts/what comes with the bolts that attach the wing to the hatch. are there grommets that go between the inside of the hatch and the bolts or is it metal on metal? basically im wondering if anyone has a picture of the original hardware kit that comes with the wings? thanks, heath

Far as I remember, there was a screw type (metal) pin screw on to that location. Its used to place the base on the hatch and move it so that you could attatch the deck to the base.. well thats what I think its for and hence I called it alignment pin. Otherwise, its difficult to do it yourself... Since I didn't use it, I had someone holding it in place as I bolted the base down. I believe it came with 10mm bolts (metal, like the 93 ones)? But any 10mm bolts worked... I don't have any other hardware i remember of.

I took one end of the spoiler with me to Home Depot and got mounting hardware.
I was able to find a allen head bolt and a washer with a glued on rubber seal. It fit perfect for the brief time I had it on the car.

Shoot FDNewbie (Ramy) a PM, I'm sure he can tell you the exact mounting hardware requirements (or maybe he can get you what you need ).
