Yes, PLEASE do a writeup with pics, PLEASE. This is exactly what I wanted to do with mine but did not have the guts to start.
Looks absolutely awesome!

That looks AWESOME!!! I would like a write-up as well. Though instead of sanding, I would probably do the Acetone.. This makes me want to go with the Defi guages now... I'm still undecided with what I'm gonna go with.

There will be no write-up I didn't take pictures. If Victor and I end up doing his, we'll be sure to, but this was very experimental, so I didn't bother.

Yeah, still working with Frank to figure out how to get a perfect fit, we're both perfectionists, even though he cautioned me at the beginning that this size pod would almost be unwieldy.

The bulbs you put in behind your regular gages where those just plug in, or did you have to wire them in?

VEEERRRRYYYY nice! I just finished the gauge faces and Im waiting on the LEDs from the same place.

I hope mine will look as good as yours.

Where do you plan on putting the extra LEDs? Will you run them off one of the sockets?

I'll put another one at the top of the tach and speedo, and maybe a wide angle one behind the gas gauge if there's enough room. I'll probably just drill the holes and use the same socketing as the stock bulbs, but run off leads from a neighboring bulb.

Thanks! I love the head unit and navigation setup. I went through as many LCD/Nav combinations as Jimlab has gone through engines to find the perfect combo.

Personally I like the color of the stock lighting , but with Defi gauges installed in the center as shown in the picture, thats a different story.

Very nice setup, it couldn't be any better!!!

Hey hyperite.....do u think blue LED's would work on the stock gauges...the same way u used the white ones? Just wondering...because for the longest time Ive been trying to find black face gauges that would light up blue but no one makes them for the FD. Or do u think it might mess with the redline red color?

Yeah, you won't have a redline light, it'll just look black.
