Hello all

Hello everyone. I'm new to the site, if you cant tell already. i just wanted to share what my project is and what i have worked on so you all could get a feel for me. i own a '93 RX-7. im not sure exaclty how much was spent on the car but the modifications consist of: Hi-eff. radiator, 1.3 psi rad. cap, M2 performance cold air intake, M2 medium intercooler, Ported motor, Racing beat down pipe, racing beat cat-back, Re- Mapped ECU, J&S knock sensor, GAB coil overs, 18in Forgline wheels, Adjustable front anti-roll bar, Strut tower brace, Adjustable trailing arms & toe links, Exedy flywheel, ACT clutch, m2 performance big brake kit, Kirk racing roll bar, '99 Body kit w/ spoiler.

I have also built a '85 GSLSE into a solo car along with a good friend of mine. Crazy fast car for sure.

Also many non RX-7 related vehicles but prolly not appropriate to post that info here. if you would like to know just ask and I will be happy to share that info with you all.

I hope that i can add some knowladge to this forum of RX-7 lovers and i hope that i can get some good information from you all as well. please feel free to contact me at odditysmurf@msn.com

Welcome to the club!! It sounds like you have done a lot of work to your 7, any pics? Where in WA do you live? I also recommend that you check out the NW forum, there are a lot of rotary enthusiasts from WA who also post there...

Hello all I am also new. I don't have a FD yet but I am soon to get one. In about 3 months I will be enjoying the pleasure of a '93 RX7. Right now I am just looking around and finding out what I can about the car before I get one. I have a little time to do so and so far I have enjoyed reading the forums here. If anyone has any suggestions on what kinda mods to upgrade the car please do tell. I'm planning on using the car for autocross and/or drag strip. So please leave some suggestions for what kinda mods are good and reliable.

This is an edit to my post above, the time expired on it. I did not give the credit to those who did the car as i should have. This car was Sports Compact Car's project RX-7. I purchased it from Shiv Pathak of Vishnu performance. All the work was done by the technitions designated in the magazine. for anyone who is not familiar with this car and is interested here is the link:

I am in the Navy and will be home soon to actually get the chance to drive the car. I let my wife be the judge for me.
this should be a big upgrade from my MR2 solo car.

lol well i was beat to posting credit for the consturction of the car.

You got a great car. I'm jealous. I loved reading about the project FD, you should stay on the site and update us as it gets even better. Maybe someday it will again grace the pages of SCC.
