hello
well actaully its kidna odd that im posting in the 3rd gen section, but i jsut wanted to ask a couple of questions. first of all i have been in love with the fd since what 6th grade its kinda funny but i think it was because of me hanging around at my uncles car garage. and it was really sexy. haha and so now im a senior in high school. i have my permit and about to get my drivers license etc etc .im about 70% sure im not getting an rx7 as my first car so dont worry not another wrecked rx7. haha but the thing is im almsot worried? that by the time im out of college or whenever im finacially and everything ready to buy my rx7 that there will not be as much support? i means theres tons of info here and that sort of thing but what would happen in 5 years? i dunno just something i wanted to throw out there. mainly because im worried that when i can get my rx7 i wound have all the things i want. my 57c's my feed front and sides skirts my rotary extreme rear diffuser 99 light etc etc hahah things like how i want my car to be exactly the way i am imagining it even when i will upgerade it to a single turbo 35 40, or vtg? haha 45gt vtg crazy i no but yea i just wanted to make a really long post and get some thoughts out.
the other thing is what would you guys recommned as a first car? porribly an integra or soemthing but theres so many aroudn here. and everyoen has the jdm front and the type r this and that. its not so original. maybe a 240? but im not sure i want to drive that. so im not sure yet. suggestions plz thanks for reading. hope you have enjoyed reading about my concern and <3 for the fd oaky have a nice day.

get a damn civic or integra and save some gas. you dont need a FD that only gets 10 or so mpg and is hella expensive to insure. super unreliable, needy and your ONLY means of transportation. i speak because it is my first car and im 17/18 as well. also on this forum people dislike poor grammar, spelling etc. and the hate "ricey" things so they most likely will not lift a finger to help you if you dont clean up your spelling grammar and maybe change your name ..no joke lol.

I know you're in love with the FD - it's a common story, we've all heard several variations on the same theme. But have you had a look at some of the 3rd gen forum titles: they usually involve any of the following: broken / blown engine / coolant seals / turbo problems etc etc. You get the idea, don't get me wrong, i loved the FD since it came out. But sometimes the only thing worse than not getting what you want, is getting exactly what you want.

Buy a VM golf GTI or a Honda Civic type R or something like that , I really recomend you a short front wheel drive car for start.
Here in my country we have the Peugeot , there R great for start , but they are a litle bit expencive, if you want to know more info search for the 206RC , a lot of grip.

My first car was a VW Golf GTI , maeby you can buy one of those , and you gone get familiar with the turbo thing. Well I have an MK2 , 10 years ago, but the MK4 is not expencive in this moment.
Then you can upgrade the suspention , and that all , cause everything that you get into the engine gone make you spend more money in gas.
Or you can buy an FC but not turbo , the only problem is that is that you gone spend a lot in gas, again.

Please let me know , cause if it dosen't consume a lot of gas O can buy one for a everyday driving.

Not the company
In 5 years you'll still have people interested in FD's....and there will be plenty of parts for sale for them, whether you find them on the forum or through vendor webpages.
For now, just get a inexpensive car, like a Hyundai, Geo, Civic, Integra, Golf, or the like. Save your money and things will work out.
