I bought a roll of the wrap from Racer Wholesale, but ended up not using it. It was for my downpipe, which I had JetHot coated. You could use both, but I doubt it would add much.

I think most brands are probably going to be about the same.

Cheers,

Steve

wrapping the downpipe is much more important than the mid pipe. unless your pants are getting hot.

not really, wrapping both the downpipe/midpipe will keep the exhaust hotter torwards the rear (more flames)

i got some heat wrap from mcmaster.com

$12 for 12feet and $8 for four steel wraps

works great

I think I'm gonna heat wrap my downpipe and my midpipe, but I wanna see about having my exhaust part of my turbos jet coated. Lemme know what you think about that.

Phil,

Yes, I will sell it. The garage is chock full o' stuff. :-)

I do not remember if it is a 25' or 50' roll. I am pretty sure I have the thick stuff - 1/8"". My guess would be I have 50', but I am not sure. I did not order the metal zip-tie-like fasteners that hold this on - I think I was going to use hose clamps - not the prettiest, but you wouldn't see it from above.

I can measure it this week. Looks like it lists for $15 for 25', and $29 for 50'. I would sell if for that - in effect free shipping.

Cheers,

Steve
