Headlight replacement

Has anyone considered or installed a set of diamond cut clear lense headlight units? Ebay has them now and again but other web sites too. Their just generic sizes (6x7 and 4x6 or something) but cleaner than stock. I plan to upgrade to the sleek style down the road but these are listed at only about $30-40! (Not HID but nicer).

If they are like these:

They don't fit. If you are just looking for something to increase your stock lighting (cheaply) until you upgrade, grab some of the Sylvania Silverstars replacement bulbs and adjust your beam pattern. It will make a world of difference.
