Having Trouble finding an offset for FD, did search... just a quick question =)
Blitz Z1's
18X9, and 18X10
Offset +41 front, +45 rear
Tires 245/40 front, 275/35 rear.
Am I going to have any rubbing issues?
Thanks =)

You guys know we have a suspension forum right? All of this offset info is already there, just waiting to be read.
Yeah those front tires at 245/40 are not small.
I'm kinda on the same boat.
I have some 18x8.5 +40 mm and 18x 9.5 +40mm. The front's should have been +42mm to be on the safe side. As of right night I'm borderline.
I'm gonna try 225/40 up front and 265/35 outback.

Well, a caveat:
I think rolling fenders on an FD that's either lowered or has aftermarket wheels should be a given.
My fronts are 18x9 +42's with a 255/35/18, so I figured 1 mm wouldn't make much difference.

To me, 18x9 +41 is too low of an offset. You will most definitely want to roll the front fenders. And 245/40 18 is WAY too tall. Run a 245/35 or 255/35.

well i checked again at some wheels i liked, but they are made for a sti witha +48 offset for each wheels and they are 17x8.5. how would those fit? or would they fit at all
im not looking to buy something really expensive or crazy wide, just something nicer than the stockers that can fit wider tires

Although mine aren't and I don't have any fender lip issues -- 235/40 18 on a 8.5 +45 wheel, lowered pretty damn far.

I actually pulled my fender lips before I had the car painted, using 17x8" +45 SSR's with 245/40/17 tires. Lowered with Koni/Eibach. Ever since then, they've been rolled. What gets you is when you turn into a driveway or parking lot, and you've got the inside wheel turned out and you hit a transition and the suspension compresses with the wheel turning. I suppose if you want to try and remember to come to a crawl everytime you pull in anywhere, you'd be fine....
However, with my 18x9 setup, particularly since i've got the car riding 25" at the fender lips, you want it rolled, and I don't think 1000# springs would help that!

Someone put the attached excel document together which shows ideal offsets for aftermarket rims. I found it in the suspension forum a while back.
Let me know what you think. Is this info acurate?

i think i read that 245 or 255 is the widest tire you can have on 8 inch wide wheel, what about 8.5?

What tires fit on a rim of a particular size depends on both the width and the sidewall height, and can vary slightly between one tire model and another.
