I let my girlfriend drive my car and i drove hers , just to see what my car looks like from other driver's view. And when we came to a light and i was behind the 7 everythime see steps on the gas smoke comes out and you can hear whine from the turbos briefly. Sounds good, hopefully that's normal. It seems like everytime you give it gas smoke comes out, just alittle, and depending on how hard you step on it more it smokes. It doesn't smoke when cruising just when you step on the gas.It's a grey to black countious puff of smoke. Do all 3rd gen smoke when giving it gas?

No. Your car sounds like it is running rich, or worse, may have some issues with the turbos (such as an oil leak).

 

the whine is normal, especialy around 3000rpm and up...my car does it all the time....dosent smoke tho
