I don't have direct experience with that product, but in general I've never been impressed with Jacob's products. Overpriced and not that well engineered/designed. But, I will digress to anyone with direct experience.

I've also heard of a lot of people having trouble with various ignition amplifiers, except for the HKS Twin Power. Dig around - there was just a thread by a fellow having continual problems with AEM's ignition box, and many people chimed in on the other ignition amps out there.

Are you being serious? I can't tell with you jokers! Actually, I was thinking of this unit. How was the install? It said that it installs with standard MSD connections? You don't have to buy a different wiring harness, do you?

yeah I am serious, when I went in I told chris at RP my car was running like crap past 4.5-5K RPMS so we put it on the dyno and it put down 252RWHP at 11.5 psi, and the curve obviously showed the horrible ignition break up. So chris he put the jacobs on there within and hour and a half got the car back on the dyno (actually installed the jacobs while it was on the dyno haha) and within a couple runs and a few A/F changes up top the car put down 295RWHP at the same psi.

Edit: we also cleaned the spark plugs that were a week old, and we used a TII ignition coil.

oh yeah, the car had already been dyno tuned by RP like 4 days before the break up got bad, chris suspected that it would happen but wasn't sure but in the end of course it did haha. So the power didn't come from tunning air fuels if thats what anybody thought.

Why did you use the TII ignition coils? Are the stock ones inadequate? Did you have to use a different harness than the stock ignition harness?
