the key is the stock ast.

random question: why would you use those couplers for the IC pipes as opposed to just straight ones?

Never seen the battery placed there before. Usually it's just smaller in the stock location, or relocated to the hatch

I wish the photo were a slightly wider angle, then I could convince myself if there is any ducting feeding the intercooler.

because when you put ur foot on the gas.. the engine moves slightly... and instead of it being stright and non streachable they make it like the one u see above.. i think....

im not a huge fan of that FD. Its looks like what would have happened if the 1980's Dodge design team would have built it.

HKS does make a v-mount, but it's a custom order part.

That hose allows for flex or movement when the car is under boost. They are also used if two pipes do not exactly line up and you need a slight bend.

Engine bay is ugly as hell. Looks like a ratts nest. The thing still has the plastic a.s.t. for crying out loud/ no battery tray. Horrible excuse for a FD in a mag. or movie.

Thumbs down

You posted on the wrong date, it is not April 1 2007.

AST, battery in the engine compartment, and no strut tower brace; DOH!

that car was at new england dragway for our fall nopi event. around midnnight of the first night once the crowd had left, a few people were dirving it around the pits. it sounded like a pos personaly.

The idle sounded like it was bridge ported to me. IMOP a nice little added detail to the movie to make the car seem authentic.

I thought the same thing.

And on the no BOV discussion, I remember reading some subie guru articles a little while ago about one of the cool things behind ball bearing turbos. One of which being the fact that you don't need to unload the boost between shifts because the turbo was designed to handle the surge. I'm not going to argue this with anyone because honestly i'd be in over my head and not able to defend it whatsoever , just tossing out some info I read. One of the guys was saying he had a talk with a high-up designer at garrett (who had been there awhile) who had pioneered a ball bearing design, and he was the one who convinced him that they were built for the abuse. Again, just re-posting info I heard elsewhere, please don't jump down my throat .
