harness caught on something?

So I noticed while toying with the car the other day, the connecter to the passengers side park light (on the passengers side of the fender area, not the light on the front bumper under the headlight) was disconnected, I can see the connecter, and the socket it plugs into, but for some damn reason, that thing just will not reach. If i try and pull the harness, it will snap in and connect, but the amount of tension on that wire/connector is way out of my comfort zone, there is a ton of tension on that connector/harness when its connected, so for now I just left it unplugged.

Anyone have any idea what the harness might be held up on?

USDM car don’t have fender light, so the wiring might not be OEM?

Its the OEM parklamp. I know the JDM cars have them on the fenders themselves, and USDM cars do not. I tried to say 'fender area' as a way to describe the location as not being the lights on the front of the bumper cover, immediately under the headlights, but rather the amber markers on the sides.

I'll try to snap a picture later, that connector on the passengers side is just too tight for comfort.

Ok, so that's the side marker, one below the headlight is the turn signal

That wire should have plenty of length, if it is too short to reach then the whole harness was shifted for some reason.

Just updating this in case someone ever has the same issue. this plug for the side marker extends off the harness by quite a bit to reach the light, you can route it over the sheet metal and down, and it will get there, but *very* tight like it was routed for me, or you can route it under the metal like it was supposed to be from the factory, and it snaps in perfectly, no issues. I just routed it wrong by mistake and didn't realize it. Thanks for the insight everyone.
