When driving long distances and i stop for gas my rx7 has a hard time starting. it takes about five tries for it to start. Why is this happening?

I'd guess leaky injectors or a bad evap solenoid. Will need more info. Is the car stock? Have the injectors ever been serviced? Does it do this any other time?

Probably low compression. Had the same symptoms. Needed a rebuild.

Guys correct me if aim wrong. Wouldn't a heat soaked engine have a hard start?

You're right. I've had the same issue in the past. I just let it cool down for a few minutes, and it fired right up.

Look up hot start issues... It's usually indicative of an engine that's getting weakened compression.
