White Smoke on Acceleration above 4000 RPM

Looking at potentially buying a 93 RX7 and the seller mentions that there is only 1 potential mechanical issue present. When accelerating Above 4000 rpm the car will start pushing some white smoke. He took it to a local rotary mechanic and was told that the issue was with the secondary injector seals, does that sound like a correct diagnosis?

Determine if the smoke is actually white or blue.

White: coolant = coolant seals = rebuild

Blue: oil & since it is happing under throttle, the most likely culprit are the turbos (oil seals) = replace turbos (don't rebuild)

You are burning coolant. You will need to rebuild soon. I know this first hand experience.

If the coolant seals were bad it would smoke all the time. Might be the secondary turbo going. But, we'd really need a better description. Tough to play telephone.

Smell the smoke, if it's sweet smelling it's coolant.

Higher rmp the engine goes the higher rmp the pump goes, thus pushing more coolant around. If its white smoke I am sure are the water seals. Three engines I had taken apart with this symptoms ended up the coolant seals. The joint of the water seal was place by the exhaust port and it came apart, letting little bit of coolant inside.
