wal-mart stuff. It comes in a gallon container and is about 5 bucks.

tech something.

I've been premixing solely on my FC and sometimes on my FD b/c the oil jets don't seal and the oil flows down the lines when it sits for a while.

Been running great. Have about 25k on my FC motor I built with stock seals and the FD motor that I used RA seals has about 10k. I never premixed during break in periods.

I use a big jug of TC-WC3 marine 2-stroke oil, and pre-measure it into 8-oz bottles (reused small water bottles).

I've tried a lot of them, the ones I liked the best were Amsoil seen here for $8.75/qt which lasts me 2 full tanks.... https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/tdr.aspx They do have some much cheaper Amsoil 2 cycles but thats the one I ran which thier "racing" 2 cycle.

And some Mobile One 2 cycle that they sell at Auto Zone. There is also a Valvoline Synthetic 2 cycle at Auto Zone that was pretty good too but I think I could smell it more in the exhaust.

I didnt have smoking issues with any of thiese and I run 1oz per gallon which is a lot. I premix only and have removed the OMP. You guys running a OMP only need to use about 4oz.

I remember one thread about good smelling premixes.

^ that is hilarious. Does it actually have the qualitys of 2 cycle or Protec, or is it strictly for scent?

running 100% premix i usually mix 100/1 or 125/1 16oz-12oz ripping around to street to be safe when i bag on it. TCW-3 all the way. I was useing castrol super 2 stroke which was great but super expensive so i switch to a generic tcw3 one

I will use idemitsu when my car is back up and running.

premixing is good, but it also bring oct. ratings down because you are Diluting the fuel. its always a good idea to get some high oct. fuel to throw in to even it back out

i dont remember where i saw it but some one had comparison pics of an engine that premixed and one that didnt. the one that did looked very clean with little if any carbon, the one that didnt how ever looked dirty and had lots of carbon buildup on the face of the rotor.

Question

http://www.rotorsportsracing.com/per...g/idemitsu.htm

Anyone tried the Idemitsu Premix? I'm thinking of switching to this company or I might go with Royal Purple, since I'm using their oil and love the results.

Redline 2 Stroke "smokeless" Kart oil. You can usually get it at motorcyle shops, purple/pink lable. $4.95 each. Been using that for years, works great and is designed to burn with the least amount of smoke.
