For the guys who go to the track!
Guys I need some idea's! everytime I go to the track I have to wait in line for tech. inspection and my car just set's and becomes heat soaked. I raise my hood run the fans and even lift the hood up & down!!! but it still stays kinda hot under there. what are you guys doing to lower the temps?
Thanx

Damn dude, that's a pretty big sig.
Just turn the car off and push it around. It's not very heavy and it'll help keep your car cool. If it's just you there, just stand in the door opening and push from the a-pillar so you can steer too.

Ice down the manifold, hardpipes & intercooler?
or Spray intercooler & radiator externally with CO2 (cheaper than NOS)! I'm sure you could rig up something to just purg CO2 in the engine bay...

Nothing you can really do if you're stuck in "traffic" to get in and the car has to be running. Just "pop" the hood (not fully open) and have the fans running.

I use Ice on the Manifold and Intercooler to keep her cool. I line up to race at approximately 26 degrees. Just make sure to keep all the melting water off of your electronics and your intake filters. Also, just like everyone else I raise the hood and keep the fans on. I failed my last inspection due to a broken battery tie down and zip ties would not cut it with the owners. So I drove about 2 hours out there to watch. It sucked. Now I am going to relocate my battery to the cubby hole and just install a kill switch.
