Hi,
I just purchased a 1995 RX7 Silverstone/Black with 9,000 miles. My intent is to collect it and store it with about 1,000 miles per year usage. Two things are problematic. First, the drivers bolster has a worn 1-inch verticle wear mark that is white (stripped). Second a door ding on the passengers side. What's the best recommendation to repair, fix or replace.
Thanks,

Are they leather seats? Either way, you should be able to get them repaired.
As for the ding, did it hurt the paint? If it's just a dent, you can go to one of those places that pops the dents out from the inside. If it hurt the paint, just get the panel repainted (or use touch-up paint).

Living in Tampa where it can get hot, make sure you do all of the reliability modifications, in particular those related to making sure you don't run hot. Check the forum or Pettit Racing in Hollywood,Fla for a roadmap on how to go about this. I have an FD that is no longer my daily driver as well, I put about 2k on my car a year but I live in Chicago where I never drive in snow or rain. I would however strongly suggest that you drive the car regularly. even when storing a car properly for long periods of time hoses become brittle and dry rot, seals dry out and carbon petrifies in your engine. Enjoy the car, you can do this and still keep the milage down. As for the door dings, as long as the paint is undamaged those dentbuster places work wonders, if the paint is damaged they can still fix the dent but you will have to go elswhere to fix the paint
