Guys running PFC question about setting boost.

I had a thought and curious.
SO I figure I ask..

Guys running PFC.

When you want to set your boost to 13-14psi.
What injector duty cycle% is your PFC set at??

I would like to see the ranges people have their
injector duties set at to get 14psi.

Thanks

On the commander, when you are setting/selecting your boost.
example:

1. primary .90 bar dutycycle 72% <- adjusting this #
second .90 70%

The #'s above are just made up, not sure what setting is.

So to set it to 14psi. i would adjust the bar to .99

I was wondering what others might have their duty cycle
set at for that boost..

anyone know what i am talking about??

I understand what you're saying now. You called it an INJECTOR duty cycle though. That's the wastegate actuator duty cycle i.e. how long the wastagate actuator holds the door closed. Bigger number means more boost. Lower number means less boost.

Yes, set the bar at 1.0 bar for boost. The percentage I'm not sure of however. Just turn it up and till you get close to the desired boost

Oops my bad..
For some reason I call it injector duty cycle.

So I am curious what most people have their

Wastgate duty cycle set at for 14psi..

Jspec thanks for clearing that up for me..
haven't drove the FD in a coupleof days
due to oppressive heat in MD..

Thanks

The duty cycle setting would depend on your level of mods. More restrictive exhaust would allow a higher duty setting, etc, etc.
With M2 intake, M2 medium intercooler, downpipe, HKS cat-back, all emissions removed and double throttle removed, my car hits the fuel cut before 5000 RPM in third when set at 0.9. This is with the duty cycle turned down all the way. I need to take a drill to my pills.

P.S. Read that again and imagine what it must look like to someone who doesn't know RX-7's.

WhiteRXseven - the bar setting is your "target" boost.

The wastegate duty cycles are relative to your car and your mods, you'll need to play with the duty cycles until you get the boost near where you want it, the PFC will then do it's best to learn and turn toward your "target" boost setting.
