Average car on the road is 10.6 yrs old.

I can't leave a gas station without someone stopping me; either asking me about my car or giving me a big thumbs up. This may have already been mentioned, but I think the biggest shock I see on most faces is after I tell them it's 18 years old.

I am almost certain that this will happen even 18 more years from now. These cars are truly timeless. It does give you a sense of award when this happens. I love my car.

Back in the day i hated being harassed by other cars when they would pace me, or trying to get me to race them etc. I would hate when people asked me if im selling the car, how much did i buy it for etc etc.

But recently i havent had that attention. I guess this generation is growing out of it? Or maybe with the advancement of cars now, our classics arent much interest anymore. WHo knows.

But just this weekend i had a dude in a civic honk at me to give me a thumbs up. If this was back when i first got my car, i prob wont pay him any mind, maybe a quick nod and thats it but this time i smiled and gave a thumbs up back. I really am grateful there are still people out there who appreciate our cars, or for what it actually is. Not just cause it looks good.
